The ship also made stops in Guam and Hawaii.After operating in the Western Pacific, Lake Champlain transited to South America and participated in Silent Forces Exercise 2018 with the Peruvian and Colombian navies. The ship visited Lima, Peru where crew members interacted with children and donated sleepwear to a local orphanage.
